Last night we went to see Tuff Hedeman Rodeo at South Point Casino, instead of rushing we decided to eat at South Point Casino, after we had walked around and saw the choice of places to eat we decided on the Garden Buffet, we go to at least one a week at Green Valley Ranch and also Sunset and even Flamingo, so we know our buffets and we enjoy them, first thing that shocked us was the price, for 2 of us it was $56 where at the others its around $20 max any way we thought well we are here now and the food is supposed to be amazing here, we was disappointed, there was not allot of choice, the chinese section did not even have Orange Chicken balls which is a favorite of thousands of people, there was chicken and cashew, Beef and brocoli, savory rolls, rice and sweet n sour sauce, the mexican section looked like it had sat there most of the evening we sat to eat at 7pm, the BBQ section had British fish and chips and being British I always hunt for the best, the fish looked dry and very unappetizing, the roast beef was so tough I could have used it for shoe leather, I tried to eat and had to stop and it was so tough to chew and swallow, there was pizza yet again looked like it has sat there way too long, the cake section I thought desert, I chose a slice of carrot cake and Black Berry cheese cake, the cheese cake was bland and the carrot cake was dry, there was not cream available either to go on My cakes, I have to say Ellis Island is the best place in Las Vegas for Fish and chips and cheese cake there is made on site and costs only $15 for both main and desert and the buffet is better and Green Valley ranch and Sunset station, South Point for the price I have to say not worth it and as I had to leave the beef as it was so tough we paid $56 for a meal we could not eat, I would not recommend this buffet to any one! tho only saving Grace for Southpoint is the Rodeos here are Awesome but eat some where else.
